Congratulations to Lucy Fellows (JG) High Jump Silver medalist and Usir Bennett-Tabi (JB) 4x100m relay Gold medalist at English Schools Finals that were held over the last 2 days.

Volunteer Vacancy for Jack Petchey Award Co-ordinator
SMRAC are proud to have worked with the Jack Petchey Foundation since 2014 to recognise and reward young achievers (and benefit the club through funding of team building activities and purchase of additional equipment each award cycle).
Latterly, the club has also participated in schemes to recognise and thank our hardworking volunteers through the Leader Award and this has opened up access to additional funding from Jack Petchey.

On SAt 16th and Sun 17th March several SMRAC athletes went to Lee Valley to compete in the Middlesex County Indoor Champs.
Medals and PB's aplenty were bought home.

Jack Petchey Award Winner Announced
Congratulations to Ollie, our latest Jack Petchey Award winner, regonised for his volunteer work with the Junior section athletes. Coach Matthew Lamb made the presentation at the Mo Farah track.

Met League - Welwyn Garden City
Met League - Welwyn Garden City - 10th November 2018
SMRAC had a good turnout and some great performances at the 2nd Metropolitan League XC fixture of the season on Saturday 10th November 2018. The course was squeezed onto the hillside of a small area of parkland, providing some testing conditions after the overnight rain, with lots of hills and a lot of cambers to run across. There were some ominous clouds around, but the rain mostly held off for the early races.
