Thank you to those who expressed an interest to come to the Christmas party, it really helped to find a suitable venue for the event!
It is with great pleasure to provide the finer details of the event, which are below: Date: Saturday 11th December 2021 Time: 5pm - 8pm Venue: Alexander Pope, Cross Deep, Twickenham, TW1 4RB Cost: £10pp (a two course meal will be provided - options are below) Main: 1) Crown of English turkey, stuffed leg, pig in blanket, goose fat roast potatoes, crushed winter roots, creamed leeks & Brussel sprouts, maple roast parsnip, Savoy cabbage, cranberry sauce, gravy (gf option available) 2) Slow cooked beef featherblade & kidney pudding, crushed carrots, swede & lovage, rainbow chard, gravy 3)Hampshire pheasant breast, croquette, braised red cabbage, pear & pickled walnuts (gf option available) 4) Pan roast salmon, crushed potatoes, harissa yogurt, samphire (gf option available) 5) Pan fried gnocchi, maple roast courgettes, preserved lemon, rocket pesto, toasted chestnuts (vg) Pudding: 1) Young’s Double Chocolate Stout Christmas pudding, brandy butter ice cream (v) 2) Lemon thyme posset, honeycomb (vg, gf) 3) Bramley apple, fig & chestnut crumble, vanilla custard (v, gf option available) 4) Salted chocolate, cranberry & pistachio tart, salted caramel ice cream (v) 5) Cropwell Bishop Beauvale blue cheese, quince jelly, celery, seeded crispbread (v, gf option available) If you would like to come then please email smrac.chair@gmail.com and confirm how many people you would like to bring.
