Junior group training will take place on a Tuesday evening 6pm to 7pm and Sunday mornings 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The sessions will cover all aspects of athletics over the weeks and you will be encouraged to compete in the Met league (cross country), NYAL (Young Athletes track and field) and County Championships as well as any other competitions that the club feels is appropriate.
The sessions will be run by various members of the Junior Coaching Team. As recommended by England Athletics, SMRAC has adopted a number of the principles outlined by Athletics 365 to aid the development of young athletes. You can find out more about Athletics 365 here.
