Indoor Pentathlon U15’s at Lee Valley

Sunday 25th March saw Scott Rees and Archie Dupree competing their first Indoor Pentathlon over at Lee Valley.

This would be Scott’s last track competition before moving up to U17’s and Archie’s first foray into Combined Eventing.

Middlesex and Surrey Indoor Championships 2012 – 4th March 2012

SMRAC athletes picked up three gold medals at the Middx Champs this Sunday.

Ella Widdup-Gray started proceeding with a new pb and club record of 1m65 in the U17women’s high jump.  Ella’s jump takes her into the UK top 10 for her age group.

Southern Masters Championships – Lee Valley – 19th February 2012

Gary Palmer broke the club M45 record for 800m when running 2.17.19 secs to place fourth in the Southern Masters Championships.  Palmer was the only SMRAC athlete competing at this event, and led the field though the first 400m in 65 seconds before the greater experience of three of the field saw him slip back to fourth in the eight man final… Continue reading

London Games U15/U17 Results – Lee Valley – 5th February 2012

Results from Sunday’s indoor meeting

James Bell broke his own U17 60m hurdle club record twice yesterday, winning his second race with 8.77 secs and just missing out equalling  his 60m club record by 1/100 second with 7.41secs.

Kyle Powell set a new PB in 60m of 7.56secs winning his first race of the day, and then ran the same time again in his second race.

LCR Met League Race 4 – Trent Park

A few of the younger members of  SMRAC went out to do battle in the 4th LCR Met league fixture at Trent Park.

3 races were competed in this time around – no adults were available to race so it was left to the U13 girls, U15/U17 girls and U15/U17 boys to show off the blue and white quarters.

SMRAC take medals at Middlesex XC Champs

A busy day for SMRAC club members was had at the Middlesex XC Champs held on Saturday 7th Jan 2012 at Wormwood Scrubs.

U13 girls -  4th Harriet Johnson, 13th Anna Uren, 14th Morgan Louise Penney 28th Issy Goffey. The first 3 girls won the Bronze team medal.
