Membership

Membership Applications are now closed until March. Please check back in March to get the new Membership application form.

If you are aged 11 – 111 you can become a member of St Mary’s Richmond Athletic Club. The Membership year begins on 1st April each year and ends on 31st March the following year no matter what time of the year you join us. (We follow the registration cycle that is operated by English Athletics).

IF YOU ARE 14 OR UNDER :

There is a waiting list for all youngsters aged 14 or under. Please can you send an email
to Kim Weir (membership@smrac.org.uk)

asking to be added to the waiting list. You will need to provide the prospective
member’s name, DOB and a telephone contact number. (You can be added to the list
even if you are under 11 years old – you will just need to wait until you are at least 11 to
join).

Once a space comes free you will receive and email inviting you to an induction / trial
session. Once you have attended this (with a parent / guardian with you) you can join the

IF YOU ARE 15 or 16:

There are a variety of event training sessions you can get take part in. If you need more
information please email Kim Weir (membership@smrac.org.uk) who can give you more

IF YOU ARE 17 OR OLDER

We offer full membership with coaching and track access or a competition only (no access to
coaching or the track) membership. Senior Membership form 2016 – last qtr.

IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE US / CHANGE YOUR 1st CLAIM CLUB

If you want to move to another club there is a formal process that needs to be followed.
1) You must send a formal letter/email of resignation to the Membership Sec. You are not automatically resigned if you dont pay the next set of membership subs.
2) Return any cups, trophies etc that you might have
3) You need to complete the English Athletics ‘Change of Club’ form, get is signed by either the Club Chairman, Secretary or Membership Secretary and then send it to English Athletics.
